About

Welcome to the Breaking Barrs Community Support Group

You are not alone.

At Breaking Barrs, we believe in the power of community, connection, and second chances. We know life can be overwhelming, and the battles we face—whether addiction, mental health struggles, or personal hardships—are not meant to be fought alone. That’s why this space exists: to support, uplift, and walk beside one another through every step of the journey.

This is a judgment-free, safe space where you can speak openly, find encouragement, and know that you are heard and valued. We are not professionals; we are people who have been through the darkness and are here to offer light.

No matter where you are in your journey, you belong here. We support you.

Through pain we find purpose, through God we find strength.

Together, we rise. Together, we heal. Together, we break the barrs.

Group Rules

Respect & Compassion

We are a judgment-free community that welcomes individuals from all walks of life. Every person’s journey is unique—we listen with empathy and encourage with kindness. Personal attacks, hate speech, or harassment will not be tolerated. Assume the best in others, even when differences arise.

No Promotion of Harmful Behavior

Breaking Barrs is a space for healing, not harm—we do not encourage, glorify, or promote substance use, self-harm, or destructive behaviors. If you are struggling, we encourage seeking professional or peer-led support rather than engaging in negative behaviors. Conversations should focus on recovery, resilience, and redemption.

Honoring Boundaries & Personal Space

Respect the emotional and physical boundaries of others. Do not pressure anyone into sharing more than they are comfortable with. If a member wishes to take a break from discussions, respect their decision.

Serving with Love & Purpose

Our goal is to be a beacon of hope, a light in the darkness. We serve with compassion, grace, and faith, believing in the power of second chances. Every person matters, and no one is beyond redemption—this is a place for healing and restoration.
